In November 2017 we hosted the Lancfield skatepark opening. Just over an hour north of Melbourne lies this unique rural town which is home to Australias heaviest concentration of mega fauna artefacts, which is incorporated in the outer skatepark infrastructure.

With MC/ skate coach Patty Gemzik, the day saw a free beginners skateboarding workshop courtesy of Ownlife in the morning followed by an epic demo with the likes of the current ‘Slam skater of the year’ Alex Lawton, Richard Flude, Mitchell ‘Mashy’ House, Nixen Osborne, LP Nuku, Jett Stanton & more. After the dust settled from a heavy demo, we held a ‘best trick’ jam for the locals, where winners & participants were given stacks of prizes form our sponsors including Vans shoes, Creature skateboards, Independent trucks, Picture wheels & Afends clothing. A massive thanks must also go out to Macedon Ranges Council for providing live music & a free barbecue.
